last evening (18th) was the coffee series day for my store. coffee series is a day where we will educate our customer about coffee (instead of giving a free gift :))
well..i don't really feel excited as the 1st coffee series that i've experienced (whch was last month). so my shift started at 3pm,i came exactly on time and suddenly my store mngr said, she wanted me to conduct the coffee tasting session during the coffes series (???) i have'nt prepared anythg yet, infct im still consider myslf as a new partner. It feels honoured,but i don't think so i'm ready to conduct a coffee tasting infront of +-20 strangers (yaiks).
honestly im quite scared,till i hv to make a latte for myslef to cool my nerve down :P the coffee series today is quite "kelam-kabut" due to leck of partner ( i wonder why 1 of the partner said she can't work, but she still came to the coffee series session, we are leck of partner behind the bar ok' n i have to work like almost everyday instead of going to class). The District Coffee Master ( Yang ) was conducting the coffee series, seems like he's been enjoying educating the customer, till he forget that he shud actually let me handle the coffee tasting part :D. terlepas beb...fuh~
last Friday ,i also have to let go the coffee explorer test because i hvn't prepare anythg yet for the test,sigh~ it's a good opportunity for me actually,because normally ,partner who are eligable to take the test hv to at least work for 6 months.
nxt time my SM should mention earlier if she wants me to take the coffee explorer test or assisting the coffee series coz im a full time student, i can't like devote myself to coffee 24/7 :))
* btw, any1 who's interested to join my store's coffee series next month, can simply inform me n i'll let u know the date. or u can just ask at any starbucks and ask for the coffee series if u r really interested to learn about coffee :)

ReplyDeletewhere do u live btw? if it's too far from u, u can simply ask at any starbucks store tht close to ur area. because normally every month each store will conduct their own coffee series :)
Bkt Raja is not far away as I live nearby at Bt Belah. So it is very convenient for me.
